WHAT IS SAFE 5.0 TRAINING?

Agile — as a proven way of working
Readers, these days, agile is proven as a way of working and method of delivery in most of the organizations; be it a product organization or service organization or government organization even. It would be team level agile in most of the cases, meaning delivery teams are following agile methods, especially scrum, as one of the well-known frameworks, to achieve benefits of agile on the ground especially faster time market through early and business value-driven releases.
Scaled Agile — a Big Picture
As the days go all these teams become mature in agile and agile methods become a part of their software delivery practices. This triggers the need for scaling agile from the team level to the next higher level, called the program level. So Agile Programs are composed of agile teams delivering the business values-driven releases on regular intervals which may get released to the end-users as early as possible to achieve faster time to market for program delivery. This agile-driven program is also getting into mature practice after proven years of experience. This would further trigger for the need of implementing Portfolio level agile or Large solution level Agile depending on the nature of the organization. So, the result of such successful implementation would be to have agile portfolios in the presence where all core delivery and support practices are also being executed in an agile way of working. All leaders and teams become agile and would follow scaled agile practices for all portfolios, solutions, programs, and releases of the products as well. This is called scaling agile practice which will lead to achieving the development of agile enterprises in the current scene of digital transformation. SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for enterprises), Large Scaled Scrum, Nexus, Spotify etc. are the example frameworks which guide enterprises in scaling their team level agile to the desired level like releases, programs, portfolios etc.
The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is set of organization and workflow patterns intended to guide enterprises in scaling lean and agile practices. It is one of well-known scaled agile frameworks which addresses the challenges faced when scaling beyond a single team. SAFe is made freely available by Scaled Agile, Inc., which retains the copyrights and registered trademarks.
SAFe promotes alignment, collaboration, and delivery across large numbers of agile teams. It was developed by and for practitioners, by leveraging three primary bodies of knowledge: agile software development, lean product development, and systems thinking. SAFe Version 4.5 was released in June 2017 while the latest edition, version 5.0, was released in January 2020.
To implement SAFe 5.0 in an organization, Scaled Agile Academy has mandated a roadmap with certain authorised roles, core values and principles with recommended Lean-Agile and DevOps practices. Implementing SAFe 5.0 (SPC 5.0) — 4 Days

SAFe 5.0 Scrum Master — 2 days

Unlike traditional Scrum Master training that focuses on the fundamentals of team-level Scrum, the SAFe Scrum Master course explores the role of the Scrum Master in the context of the entire enterprise, and prepares attendees to successfully plan and execute the Program Increment (PI), the primary enabler of alignment throughout all levels of a SAFe organization. SAFe 5.0 Release Train Engineer — 3 Days

SAFe 5.0 DevOps — 2 days
The interactive course helps people across technical, non-technical, and leadership roles work together to optimize their value stream from end to end. Attendees will learn what DevOps is, why it is important to every role, and design a continuous delivery pipeline that is tailored to their business. SAFe 5.0 for Government — 2 days
In this teams learn the transitioning to Lean-Agile practices for building technology-based capabilities is especially challenging in the government context.
Agile Software Engineering — 3 days
During this three-day, workshop-oriented course, attendees learn the foundational principles and practices that make up the Agile Software Engineering discipline.
